The Bachelor of
Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering from
The first batch
of 31 students sat for their first examinations in May 2004 and passed with
flying colours.
The passing rates were 100% and 94% for EN318 and EN313 module
respectively. What’s more, more
than 30% of the students achieved over 70% in the EN318 module.
“I am
really surprised and of course delighted and excited that I am one of the top
students for May’s exams.
What’s more, knowing it makes me not only feel good but also
spurred me on for better results,” exclaimed Darren Ng, who works in
Yokogawa Electric Asia, a Process Control Industry Manufacturing Plant
located in Singapore with the only Yokogawa Distributed Control System Manufacturer
in the World when he was told that he was one of top students for this exams
in May. “The degree harnesses the power of
Engineering to offer students a modern and relevant syllabus. Students will
learn Electronic Engineering principles, and how to apply them in practical
workplace situations,” said Mr Muthiah Manikandan. These students
will sit for their next examinations in December 2004 and be our first batch
of graduates for the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)
in Electrical & Electronic Engineeing
graduating in December 1994/January 2005.
