Singaporean Consultant Aces First Class Honours in Business Computing & IT

Singaporean Ng Teck Lung, a Consultant with UIC Asian Computer Services, is absolutely overjoyed that he has graduated with a First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Science in Business Computing and Information Technology from the University of Wales.

Teck Lung is very pleased that his investment of perseverance and hard work paid off and reaped good results. He also regarded his good results as an endorsement of his work experience.

The degree has provided Teck Lung with the skills that have proved to be very useful in his job as an Application Development Consultant.

"The course enhances my understanding of how to leverage IT knowledge to maximise business goals for an organisation. l would like to thank my lecturers and tutors for their help and kind assistance in

clarifying all my doubts, without which I could not have done

well for my course, " says Teck Lung.

Sheer hard work and good discipline are the two main characteristics that helped Teck Lung achieve academic excellence although he readily admits that sacrifices are inevitable if one is to excel in a part-time course. However, he has been able to properly manage his time for important and meaningful events with his family and friends. He is also thankful for the understanding and support that they have given him.

"The modular structure of the course helped me to plan my studies and reshuffle my modules to manage my projected workload in the a given study period," added Teck Lung.

The award of First Class Honours has enhanced Teck Lung's chance of a promotion within his company. He hopes that he will be promoted to the position of Senior Consultant and eventually become an Information System Manager.
