IPDC Expands Network in Latin America

Informatics Professional Development Centre (IPDC) continues with its expansion in Latin America through its partnership with Instituto Informatics México, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico with the operations of its 1st centre in Mexico City followed by its 2nd centre in Monterrey.

IPDC in Mexico had started operations with a roaring success.  A total of 110 students had enrolled in the summer courses at the 14,200 square feet centre which is equipped with modern and latest computer laboratory, within 3 weeks after its official opening in Mexico City.

Mr Ricardo Voegelin Shuetze, Director at Instituto Informatics Mexico S.A. de C.V added that, “We are very pleased with the enrolment numbers we have for the Certified Ethical Hacker course, which is our best seller.  We started our first training class on 16 August with a class packed with 15 students.  This is a significant success for us as we had only started our operations recently.  We are definitely expecting the enrolment to increase.”

An exclusive agreement was signed between Informatics Professional Development Centre (IPDC) in Mexico and EC-Council to provide training and certification in the IT Security programmes besides the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) course currently available in the market that it serves.

Informatics Mexico is optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead for its centres.  Their 3rd centre at Guadalajara is expected to be operational in October 2004.  The 4th and 5th centre will be opened by a sub-franchisee in Puebla in February 2005 and in Veracruz in March respectively.  Informatics Mexico’s first centre in Brazil will be operational by mid-year 2005.

“The demand for IT professionals to have skills validated by an independent and reputable institution that’s recognized by the industry and academic world becomes almost mandatory.  IPDC is the leader in providing quality IT and Business Skills courses.  Its integrated learning solutions are specially designed to the needs of professionals and corporations, providing them with the latest skills required in the marketplace, commented Mr. Amir Pishyar, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of 32Group when asked why he chose Informatics.

“We see the market for IT and Business Skills as a growing industry in UAE and the demand for skilled manpower is poised for rapid acceleration. We are confident that 32Group has the expertise and local knowledge to strengthen our market position,” added Mr. Dennis Foo, Vice President for Informatics Corporate Learning of Informatics Holdings Ltd.
