Informatics Academy
The
Informatics Academy has been institutionalized
to ensure that its award, bearing the quality
assurance mark, will be recognised and accepted
by employers and universities for employment and
transfer credit respectively.
The
Informatics Academic Governance is the backbone
on which the quality of our awards is judged.
Collectively, the Academic Council interacts with
the International Advisory Panel and thereby empowers
Examination Council and Examination Board the
authority to grant the Informatics Academy awards.
Represented
by a group of respected and experienced academic
leaders drawn from universities in the United
Kingdom, Australia and the United States of America,
each member of the International Advisory Panel
brings with them a wide range of educational leadership
and management experience. The Academic Council
is responsible for the academic affairs for Institute
of Information and Communication Technology, Institute
of Business, Finance and Management, Institute
of Engineering and Institute of Knowledge Economy.

The Advanced Diploma in Computer Engineering
emphasizes the practical application of knowledge,

Recognition
The International Advanced Diploma in Computer
Engineering is awarded by Informatics Academy.
The
main objective to institutionalise an international
tertiary education awarding body is to confer you
awards that are of the highest academic quality. Informatics
Academy ensures its award, bearing the quality assurance
mark, will be recognised and accepted by employers
and universities for employment and transfer credit
respectively.
You
will receive an international tertiary qualification
awarded by an independent awarding body, which has
its location in the United Kingdom, the United States
and Singapore. This certification will not only be
equivalent to that awarded by any tertiary institutions,
but seeks to offer international recognition both
in terms of credit transfer and employment opportunities.
Programme Duration
The course may be completed in 24 months
which consist of 6 terms. Students are recommended
to take 2 - 3 modules per term.

100% coursework.

Entry
Requirement
A
BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in Computing,
Technology, Engineering or Science One A level in
either Computing, Mathematics, Physics, Science or
another technical subject and at least 4 GCE passes
including Mathematics and English Language.
A Pass at Advanced GNVQ in 12 units in Information
Technology or Engineering City & Guilds equivalent
Diploma in engineering specializations.
Suitable UK, US, AUS or other overseas qualifications
equivalent to the above Informatics Diplomas
from ICS (DCS, DEC, DIT, DICT) with *bridging.
Other equivalent qualifications deemed suitable by
Informatics, or with suitable *bridging.
