Informatics Academy
The
Informatics Academy has been institutionalized
to ensure that its award, bearing the quality
assurance mark, will be recognised and accepted
by employers and universities for employment and
transfer credit respectively.
The
Informatics Academic Governance is the backbone
on which the quality of our awards is judged.
Collectively, the Academic Council interacts with
the International Advisory Panel and thereby empowers
Examination Council and Examination Board the
authority to grant the Informatics Academy awards.
Represented
by a group of respected and experienced academic
leaders drawn from universities in the United
Kingdom, Australia and the United States of America,
each member of the International Advisory Panel
brings with them a wide range of educational leadership
and management experience. The Academic Council
is responsible for the academic affairs for Institute
of Information and Communication Technology, Institute
of Business, Finance and Management, Institute
of Engineering and Institute of Knowledge Economy.

About
Programme
This programme is designed for those
seeking a career in Engineering or its related
fields. The programme is also appropriate
for prospective executives who would like
to acquire knowledge and practical exposure
in electronic practical skills, computer application
of engineering to analysis of electrical and
electronic methods of engineering design and
engineering science. In addition, technical
laboratory experience allows students to develop
physical design and applications from conceptual
and theoretical frameworks. It is particularly
designed to equip students with the required
engineering qualification and expertise needed
in computer engineering and electronics engineering
of the 21st century.
Graduates
will be well qualified for careers as computer
engineering in a wide field of industries

International Diploma in Computer Engineering
is awarded by Informatics Academy.
The
main objective to institutionalise an international
tertiary education awarding body is to confer
you awards that are of the highest academic
quality. Informatics Academy ensures its award,
bearing the quality assurance mark, will be
recognised and accepted by employers and universities
for employment and transfer credit respectively.
You
will receive an international tertiary qualification
awarded by an independent awarding body, which
has its location in the United Kingdom, the
United States and Singapore. This certification
will not only be equivalent to that awarded
by any tertiary institutions, but seeks to
offer international recognition both in terms
of credit transfer and employment opportunities.
Programme Duration
The course may be completed in
16 months, which consist of 4 terms. Students
are recommended to take 2 modules per term.
